Miles Overview
The 1500 is Ram's full-size pickup, the one that goes up against the F-150 and Silverado with a focus on ride comfort and interior space. It drives with a smooth, car-like feel for a truck, and the steering is light enough for easy around-town maneuvering. The coil-spring rear suspension gives it a noticeably smoother ride than leaf-sprung rivals, especially when you're not hauling. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, and the available crew cab offers generous rear-seat legroom for adults. The ST is the base model, so you skip the chrome trim and power options of the SLT, but you save thousands and still get the same tough frame and available V8. With the 5.7L V8 and four-wheel drive, this ST pulls hard from a stop and handles snow or mud without breaking a sweat.
