Miles Overview
The 1500 is Ram's full-size pickup, the one that goes up against the F-150 and Silverado with a focus on ride comfort and interior space. It drives with a smooth, car-like feel for a truck, and the steering is light enough for easy around-town maneuvering. The coil-spring rear suspension gives it a noticeably smoother ride than leaf-sprung rivals, especially when you're not hauling. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, and the available crew cab offers generous rear-seat legroom for adults. Stepping up to the Laramie Longhorn adds premium leather, real wood trim, and unique badging that sets it apart from the standard Laramie. The 5.7L Hemi V8 and automatic transmission give this truck strong passing power and a satisfying exhaust note, and the four-wheel drive handles snow and mud with ease.
