Miles Overview
The 1500 is Ram's full-size pickup, the one that goes up against the F-150 and Silverado with a focus on ride comfort and interior space. It drives with a smooth, car-like feel for a truck, and the steering is light enough for easy around-town maneuvering. The coil-spring rear suspension gives it a noticeably smoother ride than leaf-sprung rivals, especially when you're not hauling. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, and the available crew cab offers generous rear-seat legroom for adults. The Big Horn is a popular mid-level trim that adds chrome and convenience items, and it's a step up from the work-truck ST without going as far as the Laramie. Its 5.7L I8 pairs with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you confident traction on slippery roads or light trails.
