Miles Overview
The Dakota is Dodge's mid-size pickup, smaller than the Ram but still a proper truck with a ladder frame. It handles more like a car than a full-size truck, making it easy to maneuver in town and park. The Quad Cab gives you four real doors and a back seat that fits adults, though the bed is short. Owners praise the Dakota's tough, reliable engine and comfortable interior that feels like a car. The Laramie is the top Dakota trim, with more chrome and interior upgrades than the ST, SXT, or SLT. Its 4.7L V8 and automatic transmission with four-wheel drive give it real pulling power, though you'll pay at the pump with 15 mpg combined.
