Miles Overview
The Dakota is Dodge's mid-size pickup, a smaller alternative to the full-size Ram that still offers real truck capability. It drives more like a car than a big truck, with responsive steering and a ride that's composed on the highway. The Quad Cab gives you four full doors and a back seat that fits adults, though the bed is on the short side. Owners mention the 4WD system and oxygen sensors as trouble spots, but many report high-mileage trucks still running strong. The ST is the no-frills work truck of the Dakota lineup, so you get the basics without the SLT's extra chrome or interior upgrades. Its 3.7L V6 makes 210 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a four-speed automatic to four-wheel drive, which gives you steady pulling power in snow or mud.
