Miles Overview
The 2011 Durango is Dodge's three-row SUV, sized for families who need room for seven without stepping up to a full-size truck-based hauler. It drives with a truck-like feel that some owners appreciate for its solidity, though it's not as car-like as some rivals. The third row is handy for occasional passengers, but with car seats in the second row, getting back there means climbing over or using the hatch. Some owners have dealt with transmission issues and interior trim cracks, and a few report recalls related to the alternator. The R/T is the performance pick, giving up some ride comfort versus the Citadel for the 5.7L V8 and sport-tuned suspension. Its 5.7L V8 makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which gives it real grunt for towing or merging.
