Miles Overview
The 2010 Dodge Nitro is a boxy, mid-size SUV that shares its platform with the Jeep Liberty. It drives like a truck, with a stiff ride and a 4WD system that owners say is excellent in snow. The cabin is roomy, the rear seats fold flat, and there's a hidden cubby under the cargo floor. Owners report electrical gremlins, failing window switches, and plastic exterior trim that fades. The SXT adds a few more comfort features over the SE, like cruise control and a nicer stereo, without pushing the price too high. Its 3.7L I6 makes 210 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, which feels sturdy but returns 17 mpg combined.
