Miles Overview
The Dakota is Dodge's mid-size pickup, the one that split the difference between a compact and a full-size truck. The Quad Cab's back seat offers genuine legroom for adults, and the front bench's center section folds down into a handy console. Owners report rust forming on the bed sides and some interior pieces wearing out after high mileage. The Lonestar sits between the base ST and the SXT, adding chrome trim and a few extra comfort touches without the SXT's sportier look. Its 4.7L V8 makes this Dakota feel genuinely quick for a mid-size pickup, though you'll pay for it at the pump with 15 mpg combined.
