Miles Overview
The 2023 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that goes head-to-head with the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra. The 1500 drives with a composed, car-like feel for a truck, and the available air suspension smooths out rough pavement nicely. Inside, the cabin is roomy and upscale, with available quilted leather, a large touchscreen, and a spacious rear seat in crew cab models. Reliability is generally decent for a full-size truck, though the air suspension and electronics can be occasional trouble spots. The Limited Longhorn adds genuine wood trim, ventilated rear seats, and a 12-inch touchscreen that the Laramie doesn't offer. Its 5.7L V8 makes 395 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you a smooth, confident pull that gets 21 mpg combined.
