Miles Overview
The 2022 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that spans work-ready trims to the high-performance TRX. It competes with the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 in the half-ton segment. The 1500 drives with a composed, confident feel whether you're cruising the highway or towing a trailer. Its coil-spring rear suspension gives the Ram a notably smooth ride for a full-size truck. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with an available 12-inch touchscreen and upscale materials on higher trims. The Big Horn skips some of the Laramie's leather and tech upgrades, but it keeps the same capable chassis and adds the eTorque mild-hybrid system as standard. Its hybrid-assisted 3.6L V6 hybrid makes 305 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you smooth, responsive power for daily driving or light towing. The standard 3.21 rear axle ratio favors fuel economy over maximum tow capacity, so expect the truck to feel more at home cruising than pulling near its limit.
