Miles Overview
The 2022 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that spans work-ready trims to the high-performance TRX. It competes with the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 in the half-ton segment. The 1500 drives with a composed, confident feel whether you're cruising the highway or towing a trailer. Its coil-spring rear suspension gives the Ram a notably smooth ride for a full-size truck. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with an available 12-inch touchscreen and upscale materials on higher trims. Stepping up to the Lone Star from the Tradesman adds niceties like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fog lamps, and a locking tailgate without jumping to a luxury price. The hybrid 3.6L V6 hybrid makes 305 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you a smooth, responsive powertrain that feels stronger than the base V6. The Lone Star comes with a 3.21 rear axle ratio as standard, which balances everyday drivability with decent fuel economy for a full-size four-wheel-drive truck.
