Miles Overview
The 2020 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup that blends work-truck capability with a genuinely upscale interior, a combination rare in this class. It squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500, but its cabin quality gives it an edge. The ride is impressively smooth for a truck, and the steering feels direct, making the big Ram easy to place on the road. The cabin is the class benchmark, with available leather, a large touchscreen, and a spacious rear seat in crew cab models. The Tradesman is the work truck of the lineup, built for buyers who need capability without the frills of a Laramie. Its 3.6L V6 makes 305 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, returning 21 mpg combined in mixed driving.
