Miles Overview
The 2020 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup that blends work-truck capability with a genuinely upscale interior, a combination rare in this class. It squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500, but its cabin quality gives it an edge. The ride is impressively smooth for a truck, and the steering feels direct, making the big Ram easy to place on the road. The cabin is the class benchmark, with available leather, a large touchscreen, and a spacious rear seat in crew cab models. The Limited is the top-trim Ram 1500, trading the Rebel's off-road hardware for a luxury cabin and standard air suspension. Its 5.7L V8 makes 395 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving it confident highway passing and a smooth, quiet ride.
