Miles Overview
The 2019 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup that competes directly with the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado, offering a blend of capability and comfort. The Ram 1500 drives with a composed, confident feel, and its available air suspension smooths out rough roads impressively. The cabin is a highlight, with upscale materials and a rear seat that offers generous space for passengers. The available 12-inch touchscreen is one of the largest in the segment, and the Uconnect system is praised for its ease of use. This Tradesman is the work-truck trim, sitting below the Big Horn and Laramie, so you get vinyl seats and manual adjustments instead of leather and power options. The Tradesman's 3.21 rear axle ratio favors highway fuel economy over maximum towing, so expect decent cruising manners but a bit less grunt for heavy hauling.
