Miles Overview
The 2016 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and Toyota Tundra. On the road, the Ram 1500 feels composed and stable, with steering that is accurate for a truck of its size. The available air suspension delivers a remarkably smooth ride, soaking up bumps that would jolt other pickups. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen that make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. The Lone Star is a Texas-themed package that adds chrome bumpers, body-color grille, and unique badging over the base Tradesman, without stepping up to the Laramie's luxury. Its 5.7L I8 pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you strong passing power and confident traction on slippery roads or light trails. You can order the Lone Star with the RamBox cargo management system, which adds lockable storage bins molded into the bed sides.
