Miles Overview
The 2016 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and Toyota Tundra. On the road, the Ram 1500 feels composed and stable, with steering that is accurate for a truck of its size. The available air suspension delivers a remarkably smooth ride, soaking up bumps that would jolt other pickups. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen that make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. The Outdoorsman sits between the Big Horn and Laramie, adding off-road touches without the luxury price. Under the hood is a 3.6L V6 with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you confident traction on trails. It's the trim to pick if you want a truck that's ready for the outdoors right off the lot.
