Miles Overview
The 2022 Ram 1500 Classic is the previous-generation pickup sold alongside the newer 1500, offering a more affordable entry into Ram's half-ton lineup. It competes with other value-oriented full-size trucks like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Classic rides smoothly for a truck, thanks to its coil-spring rear suspension, and the steering is light and easy around town. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with a straightforward layout and available touchscreen infotainment. The Tradesman is the entry-level Classic, undercutting the SLT and Warlock on price while keeping the same work-ready bones. It pairs the 5.7L V8 with the eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you 391 horsepower for towing or highway merging without breaking a sweat.
