Miles Overview
The 2016 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and Toyota Tundra. On the road, the Ram 1500 feels composed and stable, with steering that is accurate for a truck of its size. The available air suspension delivers a remarkably smooth ride, soaking up bumps that would jolt other pickups. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen that make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. The Laramie adds heated leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim that make it feel like a luxury SUV that can still tow. Its 3.6L I6 pairs with a smooth automatic transmission to deliver confident everyday power, and with 20 mpg combined this rear-drive setup is the most efficient Ram 1500 you'll find.
