Miles Overview
The 2016 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup that squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and Toyota Tundra. On the road, the Ram 1500 feels composed and stable, with steering that is accurate for a truck of its size. The available air suspension delivers a remarkably smooth ride, soaking up bumps that would jolt other pickups. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen that make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. The Sport trim gives you the 5.7L Hemi V8, 20-inch wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension that the Tradesman and Big Horn don't offer. Its 5.7L I8 pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, delivering strong acceleration and a satisfying exhaust note when you get on the throttle.
