Miles Overview
The 2017 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup that squares off against the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra. The Ram 1500 rides with a composed, carlike feel, and the available air suspension smooths out rough pavement impressively. Its cabin is roomy and well built, with the RamBox cargo management system adding handy lockable storage in the bed sides. The Uconnect infotainment system is among the easiest to use in the segment, with crisp graphics and quick responses. The SLT is the value play in the 1500 lineup, skipping the Big Horn's chrome and the Rebel's off-road gear while keeping the same capable base. Its 3.0L V6 makes 240 horsepower, and with rear-wheel drive it's the honest-work-truck setup that'll get 23 mpg combined if you keep your foot light.
