Miles Overview
The 2022 Ram 1500 Classic is the previous-generation pickup sold alongside the newer 1500, offering a more affordable entry into Ram's half-ton lineup. It competes with other value-oriented full-size trucks like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Classic rides smoothly for a truck, thanks to its coil-spring rear suspension, and the steering is light and easy around town. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with a straightforward layout and available touchscreen infotainment. Stepping up to the SLT from the Tradesman adds chrome bumpers, power-heated mirrors, and aluminum wheels for a more finished look. The 3.6L V6 makes 291 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic, giving this two-wheel drive truck smooth, usable power for daily driving.
