Miles Overview
The 2012 Ram 1500 is the brand's full-size pickup, competing with the F-150 and Silverado in the half-ton segment. It rides on a coil-spring rear suspension, which gives it a smoother, more car-like ride than most rivals. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with available leather and wood trim on higher trims, and the crew cab offers generous rear legroom. With a choice of bed lengths and cab styles, you can set it up for work or family duty. The Laramie Longhorn is the range-topping luxury trim, for buyers who want a leather-lined cabin with real wood accents instead of the work-focused Tradesman. Under the hood is Ram's 5.7L I8 paired with four-wheel drive, giving you strong pulling power and confident traction on loose surfaces.
