Miles Overview
The 2012 Ram 1500 is the brand's full-size pickup, competing with the F-150 and Silverado in the half-ton segment. It rides on a coil-spring rear suspension, which gives it a smoother, more car-like ride than most rivals. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with available leather and wood trim on higher trims, and the crew cab offers generous rear legroom. With a choice of bed lengths and cab styles, you can set it up for work or family duty. The SLT sits above the Express and ST trims, adding more comfort equipment and chrome styling while skipping the Laramie's luxury upgrades. The 4.7L I8 makes 310 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, and earns 16 mpg combined.
