Miles Overview
The 2023 Durango is a three-row SUV that leans into Dodge's muscle-car heritage, offering a blend of family practicality and bold styling. It competes with the Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Traverse, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L, but stands apart with its truck-like presence and available V8s. The Durango drives with a satisfyingly solid feel, and the V8 models deliver strong acceleration that makes this big SUV genuinely fun. Inside, the cabin offers generous passenger and cargo space, with a straightforward layout and available premium materials on higher trims. The Citadel skips the firmer suspension and sportier interior of the R/T Plus, but adds ventilated front seats and a power sunroof for less money. The 5.7L V8 makes 357 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it has real muscle when you need to merge or pass. From the driver's seat, the Citadel feels more like a luxury SUV than a track toy, and the ventilated seats and 9-speaker Alpine system make long trips easy.
