Miles Overview
The Wrangler is the benchmark off-roader, a body-on-frame SUV that also serves as a convertible and daily driver. It competes with the Ford Bronco and Toyota 4Runner, though the Wrangler's removable doors and fold-down windshield set it apart. On pavement the Wrangler feels truck-like and wanders a bit, but off-road it climbs rocks and crosses trails with ease. The cabin is functional and easy to clean, with available touchscreens and a rear seat that folds flat for cargo. The Rubicon X sits above the standard Rubicon, adding the heavy-duty Dana axles and Tru-Lok lockers that serious off-roaders want. Its 2.0L I4 makes 270 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, sending power through a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case for crawling. The two-door body keeps the wheelbase short for tight trails, and the soft top folds back for open-air driving.
