Miles Overview
The 2018 Grand Cherokee is a mid-size SUV that blends everyday comfort with genuine off-road capability, a combination few rivals match. It lines up against the Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner, and Chevrolet Traverse, but stands apart with its available V8 power and trail-ready hardware. On pavement the Grand Cherokee feels composed and quiet, with steering that is accurate if not especially chatty. The ride is generally smooth, though the firmer suspension on performance trims trades some comfort for sharper handling. The cabin offers up to five seats and a generous cargo area, with an available power liftgate and folding rear seats for added utility. The Trailhawk sacrifices the Overland’s luxury touches for serious off-road gear, saving you over a thousand dollars in the process. Its 3.0L V6 makes 240 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you low-end grunt for crawling over rocks.
