Miles Overview
The 2015 Grand Cherokee is a midsize SUV that blends upscale comfort with genuine off-road capability, slotting above the Cherokee in Jeep's lineup. It competes with the Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner, and Chevrolet Traverse, offering a more premium interior than most rivals. The Grand Cherokee drives with a composed, refined feel on pavement, while its available four-wheel-drive systems provide serious trail capability. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well-appointed, with available leather, wood trim, and a large touchscreen, plus generous cargo space. Reliability is a mixed bag, with some owners enjoying trouble-free miles while others report transmission and electrical issues. The Limited adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power liftgate over the base Laredo, making it the volume trim for buyers who want luxury without the Overland's price. Its 5.7L I8 pairs with the eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you strong passing power and genuine trail capability, though the EPA rates it at 16 mpg combined. The Limited can be optioned with the Quadra-Lift air suspension, which raises the body for off-road clearance and lowers it at highway speeds for better aerodynamics.
