Miles Overview
The 2019 Durango is Dodge's three-row SUV, blending family practicality with muscle-car attitude in a segment that includes the Explorer and Traverse. It accelerates with authority, especially with a V8, and the steering feels direct for a large SUV, though the quick pace can sneak up on you. The cabin offers three rows of seating, plenty of legroom, and a long list of conveniences like rear vents, USB ports, and a user-friendly Uconnect touchscreen. The Citadel is the luxury-oriented Durango, trading the R/T's sporty suspension for a plusher ride and more standard comfort features. Its 3.6L V6 makes 295 horsepower and works with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which keeps it steady in rain or light snow while returning 21 mpg combined. Front and second-row heated seats and a heated steering wheel come standard, making the Citadel feel like a premium family hauler.
