Miles Overview
The 2021 Durango is a three-row SUV that blends family practicality with Dodge's muscle-car attitude, offering seating for up to eight. It competes with the Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Traverse, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L, but none of them offer a Hellcat-powered variant. The Durango drives with a solid, planted feel, and the V8 models deliver strong acceleration that can catch you off guard. The cabin is roomy and practical, with three rows and plenty of cargo space when the rear seats are folded. The SXT is the entry point for the Durango, so you give up the GT's sportier looks and a few horsepower, but you still get the same practical three-row layout and the Uconnect 4 system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Its 3.6L V6 makes 295 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and all-wheel drive, which gives you confident all-weather traction without the thirst of the V8 models.
