Miles Overview
The 2021 Durango is a three-row SUV that blends family practicality with Dodge's muscle-car attitude, offering seating for up to eight. It competes with the Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Traverse, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L, but none of them offer a Hellcat-powered variant. The Durango drives with a solid, planted feel, and the V8 models deliver strong acceleration that can catch you off guard. The cabin is roomy and practical, with three rows and plenty of cargo space when the rear seats are folded. The SXT Plus is the V6 Durango with the most popular options bundled in, so you get the standard 3.6L and a nicer interior without stepping up to the R/T's V8. Its 3.6L V6 makes 295 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission}, which is smooth and responsive for daily driving while still getting decent fuel economy for a three-row SUV.
