Miles Overview
The 2013 Durango is Dodge's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander. It drives more like a truck than a crossover, which some owners like for the solid feel, but you'll notice the body roll in corners. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, with seating for seven and a third row that folds down for extra cargo space. Available tech includes a touchscreen UConnect system, rear entertainment, and a backup camera, though the infotainment can be finicky. The SXT is the entry-level Durango, sitting below the Crew, R/T, and Citadel trims, and it skips some luxuries like leather seats and a power liftgate. Under the hood is a 3.6L V6 making 290 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, good for 19 mpg combined. You can add a rearview camera and blind-spot monitoring, but they weren't standard on the SXT, so check the window sticker.
