Miles Overview
The Liberty is Jeep's compact SUV, a boxy, rugged alternative to the Escape and RAV4. It rides high and feels substantial, with a suspension that's more about off-road readiness than pavement polish. The cabin is roomy up front and the cargo area is generous with the rear seats folded, but the back seat is snug for adults. Owners report few major mechanical issues, though some mention squeaks and rattles in the dash. The JET is the sporty-looking Liberty, with unique blacked-out grille and bumpers, dark wheels, and a more aggressive stance than the Limited. It uses the same 3.7L I6 making 210 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, so it's capable off-road but returns 17 mpg combined. The JET comes with a standard tow package and skid plates, so you can actually use its off-road hardware without worrying about the undercarriage.
