Miles Overview
The 2016 Cherokee is Jeep's compact SUV, slotting between the Renegade and the Grand Cherokee with a more car-like unibody design. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, and Toyota RAV4, but brings genuine off-road capability that those rivals lack. On pavement the Cherokee rides smoothly and handles well, while the available Trailhawk trim adds serious trail credentials. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with comfortable seats and a user-friendly Uconnect infotainment system. The Latitude is the mid-range Cherokee, splitting the difference between the base Sport and the luxury Limited with a solid set of standard features. This one has the 3.2L I6 and two-wheel drive, which gives it a smooth, responsive feel on the road and helps keep fuel costs down.
