2016 Jeep Patriot High Altitude

The Patriot is Jeep's compact SUV, a boxy and straightforward alternative to the RAV4 and CR-V. It rides like a proper Jeep, with decent ground clearance and a 4WD system that handles snow and dirt trails with confidence. Inside, the cabin is simple and functional, with plenty of cargo space once you fold the rear seats flat. Some owners have dealt with Bluetooth pairing issues and a finicky tire-pressure light, but major mechanical failures are rare. The High Altitude adds unique 17-inch wheels, body-color trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel over the Sport and Latitude trims. Its 2.0L I4 makes 158 horsepower and works with a five-speed automatic, which is adequate for daily driving but feels strained on steep highway grades.
