Miles Overview
The Wrangler is Jeep's iconic off-roader, the one with removable doors and a fold-down windshield that's been a staple for decades. It's genuinely fun to drive with the top off, especially in summer, and it's a blast on trails. The ride is on the firm side, and wind noise is noticeable at highway speeds, but that's the trade-off for its off-road focus. You get plenty of cargo space, and the boxy shape makes it easy to load gear. The Rubicon gives up some on-road refinement for serious off-road hardware, but it's the one you want if you're actually going to use those lockers and sway-bar disconnect. Its 2.0L I4 makes 270 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual and four-wheel drive, so you get a torquey, easy-to-modulate powertrain that crawls confidently over rocks. The Rock-Trac 4:1 transfer case and Tru-Lok locking differentials are standard here, meaning you can tackle trails that would stop lesser Wranglers in their tracks.
