The 2016 Wrangler Unlimited is the four-door version of Jeep's iconic off-roader, blending classic open-air character with more cabin space. It goes up against the Toyota 4Runner and Ford Bronco in the rugged SUV segment, though none match its removable top and doors. The cabin is utilitarian with hard plastics, but the Unlimited's extra length gives real rear-seat legroom and a usable cargo area. The Rubicon is the Wrangler's hardcore off-road trim, sitting above the Sport and 75th Anniversary with locking differentials and a disconnecting sway bar. Its naturally aspirated 3.6L I6 pairs with four-wheel drive and a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, giving you serious crawling ability on the trail. The front and rear Tru-Lok lockers and electronic sway-bar disconnect are Rubicon exclusives, so you can tackle terrain the other trims can't.
