Miles Overview
The 2018 Wrangler Unlimited is the four-door version of Jeep's iconic off-roader, blending open-air freedom with room for five. It squares off against the Toyota 4Runner and Ford Bronco, but none match its removable top and doors. On pavement the steering is vague and the ride is bouncy, but off-road it is nearly unstoppable. The cabin is functional and easy to hose out, with plenty of headroom and a commanding view over traffic. The Sport is the no-frills Wrangler for buyers who want the full off-road capability without the extras that push up the price on a Rubicon. Its 3.6L V6 makes 285 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual and part-time four-wheel drive, good for 19 mpg combined.
