Miles Overview
The Avenger is Dodge's mid-size sedan, a roomy, value-priced alternative to the Camry and Accord for that model year. It's a comfortable cruiser that soaks up highway miles well, though the base engine can feel a bit sluggish when you need to merge quickly. Inside, you get a spacious back seat and a large trunk, making it practical for families or road trips. Some owners mention finicky electronics and a battery tucked behind the front wheel well, which makes replacements a hassle. The SXT Plus sits above the base SE and the four-cylinder SXT, giving you the 3.6L V6 and a few extra comfort features for the money. With 283 horsepower from the 3.6L V6, the SXT Plus feels noticeably stronger than the standard four-cylinder, though the front wheels can struggle for grip under hard throttle. This trim unlocks the available 18-inch wheels and a sportier suspension tune, which sharpens the handling a bit without ruining the ride.
