Miles Overview
The Dart is Dodge's compact sedan, the one that went up against the Civic and Corolla with Italian flair and a sporty look. It handles corners with a firm, planted feel that's rare in this class, though the base engine needs revs to get going. Inside, the cabin feels more upscale than the price suggests, with a big available touchscreen and supportive seats, but rear legroom is tight. Owners love the gas mileage, the sharp styling, and the comfortable ride on long trips, and many say it still turns heads. Stepping up from the SE to the SXT brings the stronger 2.4L I4, a six-speed manual, and extra standard equipment like a larger touchscreen and nicer interior trim. The 2.4L I4 makes 184 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque, and with the six-speed manual you get a direct, engaging feel that makes the most of the engine's mid-range pull; expect 27 mpg combined.
