Miles Overview
The Crossfire is Chrysler's two-seat sports coupe and convertible, built on Mercedes-Benz hardware from the early SLK. It's a fun little car to toss around, with sharp steering and a ride that's firm but not punishing. The cabin is snug but comfortable, with supportive bucket seats and a design that feels more premium than the price suggests. Some owners have dealt with finicky air conditioning and pricey custom tires, so budget for those if you're looking at one. The Limited is the premium convertible version of the Crossfire, a step up from the base coupe with a power-folding top and leather upholstery. Its 3.2L V6 makes 215 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive, which gives it a relaxed but willing feel on the road. Expect 18 mpg combined from the V6, which is typical for a car of this era and weight.
