Miles Overview
The 2001 Ram 1500 is Dodge's full-size half-ton pickup, the one that competes with the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. It rides like a proper truck, with a firm, trucky feel that you'll notice over bumps, but the steering is direct and it tracks straight on the highway. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with big, easy-to-use controls and a bench seat that fits three across. Reliability is a mixed bag; the drivetrain is generally solid, but electrical gremlins and suspension wear are common as these trucks age.
