Miles Overview
It drives smoothly and quietly around town, though the engine gets a bit loud when you push it hard. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the class, with quality materials and plenty of room for front and rear passengers. Stepping up to the Touring adds leather upholstery, a power driver's seat, and a premium audio system, making it the most comfortable way to commute in the Insight lineup. The hybrid powertrain pairs a 1.5L I4 hybrid with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, delivering 151 horsepower and an EPA-rated 48 mpg combined. The Touring's standard 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights give it a sharper look, though the low-rolling-resistance tires prioritize fuel economy over grip.
