Miles Overview
The 2021 TLX is Acura's midsize sport sedan, the one that lines up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. The cabin feels upscale with quality materials, though rear legroom is a bit tight for a midsize sedan. Acura's reputation for dependability carries over here, and owners report few issues beyond minor annoyances. The Type S is the TLX for enthusiasts who want a proper sports sedan, trading some fuel efficiency for the big power the A-Spec doesn't have. The 3.0L V6 makes 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a ten-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that put the power down with authority; expect 21 mpg combined.
