Miles Overview
The TLX is Acura's midsize sedan, the one you cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It handles with more composure than you'd expect from a mainstream luxury sedan, though the transmission can feel hesitant in manual mode. The cabin stays quiet at highway speeds and the interior feels upscale, but rear legroom is tight for a car this size. Reliability is a strong point, with owners reporting few issues beyond the occasional factory fit-and-finish quirk. The Technology Package with A-Spec Package adds the V6 and sporty styling cues, but you stay with front-wheel drive rather than stepping up to the A-Spec's AWD. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic to front-wheel drive, which returns 23 mpg combined. The A-Spec package brings unique 19-inch wheels, a firmer suspension tune, and sharper steering weighting for a more engaging feel.
