Miles Overview
The TLX is Acura's mid-size sedan, a step up from the ILX and a direct rival to the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. It rides composed and handles with confidence, though the transmission can be hesitant in manual mode. The cabin stays quiet at highway speeds, and the front seats are comfortable, but rear legroom is a bit tight. You get a full suite of driver aids like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning, plus a multi-view rear camera. The Technology trim adds the 3.5L V6 and a larger infotainment screen, setting it apart from the base four-cylinder TLX. Its 3.5L V6 pairs with a nine-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, delivering 290 horsepower that makes merging and passing effortless, while 25 mpg combined keeps fuel costs reasonable.
